Professor Peng visits the J-PET laboratories
Professor Qiyu Peng is a leading expert in PET instrumentation and a former Career Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He contributed to the OpenPET and EXPLORER total-body PET projects and currently leads the development of next-generation PET technologies at Shenzhen Bay Laboratory.
Professor Peng visited the J-PET laboratories and became familiar with the latest advances in the J-PET project, including the design of total-body PET scanners based on plastic scintillator technology. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange scientific ideas, discuss recent advances in PET instrumentation, and explore opportunities for future collaboration between Shenzhen Bay Laboratory and the J-PET research team.
